Once again, I find myself in agreement with Burl. (Although I wouldn’t be in there in the first place.)The cashier is rude—couldn’t she have managed a “please?” The business model of these places is low cost, so there will never be extra employee assistance. (Labor cost.)As much as they might fuss, the Pennys will always go to places like this because they are cheap.
@mikie2 I would like to agree with you. However it is a bargin store which means minimuin wages and dealing with the likes of Penny’s then after your shift you have to go to your other job at bargin buffet and again you meat the penny’s. After the second or third dealing with the Pennys ( and don’t think you can forget them) I would did muh ! Here they are again what are they going to whine about now. Also having oneperson in front of you in line is not a reason to open another check out line
Crabby… I missed your previous return where you had a happy comment! I would have probably dropped the pipe out of my mouth and spilled ashes all over my shirt out of the shock of it all, though, so it is probably for the best. I would suggest that people are not acting like these comic renditions are REAL, they are acting like the comic renditions behave similarly to real people the commenters have seen, observed, and known.
Oddly your caustic responses to Dinette Set reminds me so much of Burl. You seem drawn to the place where you can plan to complain before you arrive. Why not consider reading comics you enjoy like we do.
What makes you think we’re real? Between the comic strip characters and the commentary characters, you might be the only real one here. Which would make you kind of a dope for hanging around.
