I can’t comfortably watch war movies – particularly ones about my era. It took me a very long time before I could watch Deer Hunter and I have never seen Apocalypse Now.I did like Good Morning Vietnam, which was reminiscent of the Saigon I knew, on my second tour ( before the 2nd Tet offensive ).
