Arlo: What a terrible call! That coach is having kittens!! Arlo: It's just an expression, albeit a weird one!
That would be one for the books – if a coach really had kittens on field! :P
Like “having your cake and eat it too” – whats the idea behind that?
I haven’t heard that expression in years…..We also used to say, “Oh, man, she had a cow!”
Before you can have a kitten, you must have a Hissy Fit.
Luddie is thinking, “That coach is having humans!”
Way to much information about cake and eating it to. I like comments that are “easy as pie” to read.
No problem, “Piece of cake”
Never heard the “kitten” expression.
Luddy: I gotta see this…..
Oh, look! I think he’s going up to the Umpire to give him one of the kittens!
Jimmy, I like your sense of humor! Most of the comics are okay. Yours gets regular guffaws.
In an episode of M*A*S*H Radar said “I think the bus is having kittens.”
As for “easy as pie,” it’s actually a shortening of “easy as eating pie.” As anyone who’s ever made pie can tell you, it ain’t easy.
Mary had a little lamb. The doctor fainted.
What possible use is it to “have” your cake if you can’t eat it? Never did understand that one.
My dad’s second wife used the term “having kittens,” but I haven’t heard since until it showed up in one of the Harry Potter books.
To be more Accurate: You cannot Keep a Cake and Eat it, too.
