Could be worse. Couple of friends of mine sang karaoke to their common mother-in-law once — and only once. They picked the old Ernie K-Doe song “Mother-in Law.” Now, the one guy could possibly have forgotten what the lyrics were; but the other guy made money singing covers back in the day; so he had no excuse for not remembering that “Mother-in-Law” was a complete and total dig at the wife’s mother (starting out with lyrics like “The worst person I know, mother-in law!”).
