In Australia we take interest in your Independence Day, We haven’t forgotten your assistance 70years ago; the fact that we still live in our own country is testimony.
I wonder who used the ‘Francis’ avatar as a coward’s way of hiding their usual name on Gocomics. Their current name sums up how they must really feel about themselves. Flagged.
The General isn’t missing he’s at some Veteran’s program. Or Dusty’s ex has abscounded with him. It is interesting that thegroup sitting outside looking in can just turn their chairs around to see real fireworks.
Joe-Allen asked me yesterday if I had ever lived in a retirement home and the answer is a tongue-in-cheek yes….I consider my own home a retirement home since I retired two years ago. BTW we are about the same age although I was in Nam a year before you were. Have a great Independance day everyone, even if it is on the 4th ;-)

JOE, Canada Day is on July 1st, and border towns often celebrate both.
