I think the mutt sees Clive moving inexplicably and is trying to hold him still. Maybe the dittos aren’t able to cloak Clive for some reason, and the mutts and Topsiders have been following a flying haunted head trying to figure it out.

This is not going to be good. At all. Maybe the lizard will kick a little Mutt Butt.

For the love of Max, let the brain go. Let it go, let it go! Don’t hold the brain anymore!

I just have a feeling these mutts will activate Clive and he’ll talk them out of doing anything nasty to Our Gang—-well, anything pretty nasty to them.

Someone in here has guessed earlier that maybe some of the TS machines using live brains might have escaped and made their own colony. Even if they haven’t, it seems that all we have seen are actions performed by machines without TS guidance, including the destruction of the lizards. Could they be acting on their own, and communicating with each other (and Clive) directly (telepathically)? All of this makes me wonder why Petey wasn’t tracked.

I think its time for Chic and Holly to learn that this just isn’t worth the risk. I think Chic may be on his way to figuring it out. Will Holly?

What? Hasn’t even Chik “gotten it” yet? Clive quite obviously has a tracker. I’d have thought our little adventuring troupe would have figured it out by now.

I had thought that Kirbee would catch Chik before he got to the mutts and Clive.

I think we all, and they all were quite attached to Chik. He’s just a little kid, most everyone loves little kids.We have a built in survival instinct for the young, they are the future.

I’m not too sure they’ll kick on a Zero projector in the middle of their group, but perhaps they have other, non-lethal tools at their disposal to subdue something in need of examination.

I noticed something on these mutts that isn’t present on previous mutts—-a speaker, or what looks like one. Could that tower in the distance be their home? It they’re regaining their sentience, could they communicate with the ones still under control of the Topsiders?Sorry I’ve been out of the loop, but I’ve been on vacation.

I don’t think Clive has any sort of tracking device, the mutts were passing by the spot where they were sleeping (IMHO heading toward whatever Wally saw in the distance). Since the dittos are linked strongest to Wally (and his opinion of Clive is somewhat less than of the “live” folks in the party) it doesn’t seem far fetched for the dittos to have maintained their cloak over Wally et al as they chased Holly, but left Clive uncovered. Only time and AN will tell… ;-)
