Puppy mills are horrific, yet still aren’t as cruel as factory farms.

Most abortions are voluntary. The women who decide to have them are to be pitied, not censored, but they have received counselling and decided to go through with it anyway.

And on the other hand, when I was with the Evil Insurance Company, I had a caller who asked me how many abortions we covered in a year. I told her one every two years, which probably wasn’t the truth, but I did suggest that we covered birth control pills – and tubal ligations.

The sad fact here is that those who don’t like abortion are not ready to take the woman in their house and then allow her to choose where the baby goes. These are the same people that feel that if the woman get pregnant she deserves to be a single mom and raise the child. This shows how they care about the child. These people also don’t think that birth control is a good thing, because it promotes pre marital sex.Give me a break, the people are just “going forth and multiplying” as God wanted. I have heard about 25 year old virgins, but I have never met one

I agree with you completely Mr. Raeside and with the sentiment of today’s cartoon, and with others recently that have promoted the prevention of cruelty to animals and similar things, but there is a proper place for everything. If you want to draw editorial cartoons perhaps your work belongs on that page rather than on the comics page. I spend most of my time here rather than on the Editorial Cartoons page to relax and get away from serious issues. Thinking about puppy mills is disturbing. I would rather be amused when reading comics, not disturbed. Would you please consider drawing cartoons that make people laugh instead of thinking about serious issues, or if you feel compelled to draw serious cartoons place them on the Editorial Cartoons page?

OH good grief. Go write your own cartoon. If you don’t like this one, unsubscribe.

Adrian – thank you for this strip and for a message that needs repeating often.
