I realize that the scarf is nice and comfortable, and that it provides a certain level of insulation from the elements. But, at some point he IS going to start to smell. Can you work on knitting a large box and a deep hole?

At least Mrs Spinner has the children’s company to be there with/for her during this time… she could have been alone.

standard riser to tread ratio is 7″ × 11″, this stair looks like they had to have greater riser to deal w/ the lack of space on the island.

Parents must be going nuts worrying…

So I get the distinct impression the knitting was what kept Mr. Spinner alive? I am sure you guys have already figured out what happened but for some reason I can’t see other comments today. Aaargh!

I just lost my step-uncle today. He died of a blood clot. I liked him. He was a good man who made my aunt happy. So even though I don’t come close to knitting as much as Mrs. Spinner does, I can definitely relate to how she’s feeling right now.SIGH…
