Nerd section ? He means the pocket protector section.

For all of Norm’s issues, he really doesn’t fit the “nerd” profile either. A misfit among misfits.

Norm should sit in the “Dork” section.

A nerd would hardly be seen at a sports function.

Nerds at football games????

I have never seen an actual pocket protector outside of a movie or comic’s cliché portrayal of a nerd. Do these things even exist anymore?

They are called “sport dorks”

I used to wear a pocket protector to work, not so much to prevent ink stains on shirts, but to prevent wear on the pocket from clipping the pen onto it. A shabby-looking pocket is not something you want to have if you’re trying to impress the customers and get them to buy stuff.
