So I suppose you’re of the mindset that it’s “simple human nature” for us to bomb the heck out of foreign lands, or for folks to come over and fly planes into our buildings? After all, if it’s just “human nature,” there’s “nothing right or wrong about it,” correct?

People gnash and wail because they’re happy? Um, you might need to relearn certain emotional cues.

Let the shroud of civilization fall off and humans will revert to the old tried and true ways to survive.

How do you define “civilization”? Do you suppose we’re particularly “civilized” in everything we do? Why or why not?…………………………………………………………………………………….Yes Agrestic, like it or not aggression and the wish to dominate or convert others are standard human drives, don’t you read history at all?……………………………………………………………………………………..People today can afford to feel guilty about things they had no control over in the past because our civilization has made them comfortable enough to have those feeling. Again look to the history, you won’t find any peoples feeling sorry for the ones they conquered. Heck even the Churches missionaries during the Spanish conquest era were basically to subjugate the natives. ……………………………………………………………………………………..As for civilization, I refer to the level of comfort a nation has for it’s people. The aggression our nation does towards other nations is solely to acquire the resources needed to maintain that level of comfort, or to slap down any entity that threatens our nation.……………………………………………………………………………………..So, like it or not I believe it is up to the individual to live their lives as they see fit, some will take what many view as an evil path, but is that due to the fact that they do not have the means to go the ‘good way’ or are they just ‘evil’?
