Heh, pretty amusing, Akwolffan: I support the Pats and whichever team is playing Dallas myself. (Chalk it up to all that nauseating America’sTeam! hype back in the day.).But yeah, I hear you. In ANY OTHER SPORT, even if the Patriots were guilty as hell, no one would care. Carry an illegal stick in hockey, and that’s a 2-minute minor penalty. Doctor a baseball, and the pitcher’s tossed out of the game. Major League Soccer and the NBA don’t even HAVE penalties for “tampering” with the balls — they just replace ones that don’t meet the standards.
For those who don’t watch 60 Minutes Sports every month, it had a Deflategate episode debunking the whole thing, because two different gauges were used to take the measurements — the second measurement was taken using the gauge that consistently reads 0.4PSI lower than the first.
He just wants to know if it is possible to Kick the Air out of a football?.And, If it IS, can his Wide Receiver catch a “Field goal” that falls short and Run it for a touchdown?.This is significant because a Fully Inflated ball is Better for Kicking while an Under-inflated ball is easier to Catch..And, now begins the quest for a Fill Valve that holds pressure Perfectly UNTIL the ball is Kicked …
