If you don’t sweat and don’t get dirty, there’s nothing wrong with wearing the same OUTER clothes two days in a row. When I was a kid, my mother insisted that we do so. It was the normal thing to do then.
I don’t know about shirts, but I have a theory that bath towels never need washing. Under normal circumstances, the only thing they come in contact with is you, and only when you’re at the absolute cleanest you ever get to be, right out of the bath or shower. How can something get dirty if it never touches anything that isn’t clean?
Earl, I agree with you. However, apparently others do not (including Roscoe). Give it up. Throw the clothes in the washer, jump in the shower and scrub with a loofa!
If Earl isn’t doing lots of physical activities to cause sweat, and so long as he at least changes his underwear, then his wearing the same clothes for 2 days in a row is hardly bad. It’s when you start wearing them for the 3rd day, that it starts being a problem…
jeans get “ripe” after 2 or 3 days. tops, shirts vary depending on sweatiness, but more often i’l spill something long before they get sweaty.i’m not that sweaty a person

It’s the smell Earl. You may have become desensitized by it but others haven’t.

They also become stiff because of the lime in the water.

Earl has a certain ‘air’ about him that Claude can resist !

I give my shirts a day of rest before wearing them again – then nobody can accuse me of wearing the same clothes 2 days in a row.

“…. We are so removed from nature that we don’t even hear it scream.”~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
That is the most impressive pronouncement I have ever come across.! I will treasure it forever.

“…Would have…”not would ’of.

Sorry, it’s compulsive — totally out of my control.

I do the same. I wear the same outfit for about 4 days at the most.
And I don’t care what anybody says.
