Interesting from a non-comic point of view: Great Horned Owls have such a poor sense of smell that they eat every skunk they can find. GHOs don’t care if they get sprayed – doesn’t faze them – so tough luck, skunk.
It’s simple. If you smell bad enough no one want to get near you to hurt you!
