On her 1960s network TV special she did a bit wandering about a set populated by a variety of (real) exotic animals, singing. Leaning in nose-to-proboscis with a giant anteater, she warbled “We’ve got a lot in common….” I loved the sweet willingness to make fun of herself and have been a fan ever since.
