Is it even possible to be more than 5 minutes away from a Starbucks?

The horror, the horror. I read an interview with an upper management type from Starbucks who said that their goal was to saturate an area with Starbucks so that the customer (addict) would never have to turn around to get to one.

But I’m supposed to feel superior speaking a made up language and overpaying for burnt coffee.

Their straight Kenyan coffee takes balls to drink. No wonder everyone orders it flavored.

This is why my ex manager is still single. She can’t get anyone to commit to this.

I know for sure there isn’t a Starbucks within more than 15 minutes of my house. I guess a town has to be big enough to get a stoplight before Starbucks will put in a location.

I agree, joefish25 - it’s way to bitter for me.

I brew mine at home with Tasmanian Peaberry beans and just a hint of chocolate raspberry flavored beans - about a 6 to 1ratio of Peaberry to choco/raspberry.

I was given some lovely Costa Rican peaberry a few months ago. I’d love to find more, but haven’t seen anything near me.

Chocolate raspberry sounds interesting. Most flavored coffees aren’t. I have to leave the room if someone’s drinking vanilla or hazelnut flavored coffee.

ottod: Try Gevalia - they have it, as well as a large inventory of other interesting coffees.

(I’m speaking of ordering over the internet, of course.)
