    Until you find yourself, go to Starbucks and have a coffee; the lines shouldn’t be too long with everybody boycotting it.

    “Pig, go…”

    Everybody. A decent person doesn’t need to blank out the letters of the word “find”.

    @Rob Rex

    Some Christians want customers to boycott Starbucks because they believe the the red cups Starbucks is using this Christmas Season are not Christmassy enough and are an insult to the Christian holiday. They consider this part of the so called “war on Christmas.”

    Rob Rex. .. some people are boycotting Starbucks because. … honestly. .. because they didn’t put Christmas-y designs on their 2015 holiday cups. The nerve!

    Apparently, in past years they’ve had holly or other designs. This year they chose plain red paper cups with a green Starbucks logo.

    A Starbucks spokesman explained that they wanted people to be able to draw or write on them, as they do on the white ones. As Bubba Boo posted while i was typing this. . Some people, including a candidate for president (!) have decided this is part of the “War on Christmas” and called for a boycott.

    Unbelievable.

    I’m trying to found myself. I figure in a few years I’ll be able to tell people I’m a self-made man.

    I’ve spent some time standing in front of those mall maps. “You are here” is not always very helpful, because where “here” is, is the problem. So, sympathy for Pig today (whereas more often I condemn his naive ignorance). Today, it is Goat’s turn to be confused.

    LOL – I boycott Starbucks because I don’t like their coffee, or their prices. I just make my own. It boggles my mind that people would pay that much for any coffee, and since I don’t care for their coffee anyway, it boggles it even more.

    Actually, the only people on the boycott bandwagon are the media. https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/acts-of-faith/wp/2015/11/10/most-christians-dont-actually-care-about-starbucks-cups-heres-what-we-do-know/

    No, I think Starbucks announced their cup as a made-up controversy. None of the Christians that I know care about this non-issue. The offense is being told we’re offended.

    Loved the last line…something Charlie Brown would’ve said in the same situation.

    And count me as another Christian who couldn’t care less about anything Starbucks does. It’s only an overpriced coffee shop, although anyone who thinks a single cup of coffee is worth $4 could probably use some divine intervention since common sense obviously isn’t working.

    Dsom8… and HellCat to… if you read the news, you won’t have to make some up, or speculate. That’s how this kind of stuff gets started in the first place!

    It was just grandstanding on the part of a few “War on Christmas” attention hogs, picked up by Trump to try to give himself some folksy appeal.

    To combine a couple of common themes here today: Some Christians seem to believe that the purpose of the Spiritual Journey is to avoid persecution—and make an outcry whenever it is perceived.
