If used properly, facebook is great fun. Thanks to facebook, I have reconnected to friends I haven’t seen in 30 years (and yes, I have seen them in person afterwards). I have also found long lost family. I have about 50 friends, no more, and I spend maybe 45 minutes to an hour on facebook every day (a little more on weekends…lol), but that doesn’t stop me from being among the “living”, as Jo Clear so eloquently puts it. Facebook is like many things in life, in moderate quantities, it can be useful and fun; if abused, it becomes a bad thing. But we shouldn’t universally pan it as no good at all.
