    I get offers to work for equity all. the. time. 99% of the time it’s for an idea that’s already out there, but made niche. “It’s like ebay, but just for pez dispensers. Sort of a ‘back to their roots’ thing.” The other 1% are people who are afraid I’m going to steal their idea, so they won’t tell me until I agree to work for free indefinitely (previously known as slavery, now known as “independent contracting”).

    Is it for charity ? No . a good cause .? No. Oh so you can get profit of my effort for free . Actually the rude one is the guy wanting free work so they can get profit.

    Yeah but this is a common occurrence for any artist, photographer, graphic designer, etc. Try pulling that crap with your dentist or grocer. See how far you get.
