Regardless is the word.

For all the people that have an issue with the word irregardless as if it is not real, may I remind you, it is. There are lots of ridiculous words in the American language. It has lots of company in the “who on earth came up with this word” department.

Though really, I do like the sound of it better than regardless. i don’t know why, it just rolls of the tongue the right way.

Doesn’t this also include, you know, the guy who, er, can like take forever to, well, you know, um, get to the point?

If you’re a Ferengi the correct word is earregardless.

And he tells you why the comic is funny, because he thinks he understands so much more than anyone else.

While irregardless is highly disputed, it is recognized in the dictionary, citing it’s usage typically for informal writings/conversations. What I don’t understand is why people jumped on that word and ignored “nucular” all together.
