Sorry I’m too late for yesterday’s strip.I did myself a mischief. Came into the bedroom after Hubby’s asleep…sat on the edge of the bed… (missed the bed). Bounced off the night table—headfirst! Finally, hit my back on one of the bed’s sideboards, landed on my tailbone on the rug. I must have been a good foot and a half from the bed’s edge. That left me sitting on air for a second…felt like Wiley Coyote (but I don’t bounce like him.) Fortunately, I mostly hurt my pride…CAT scan for my head scalp wound, sore tailbone, big bruise on back. Big OWIE but no serious damage. I missed you guys yesterday. I’ll go back to see what I missed! ;-D
It’s amazing how I fully understand and agree with Rule # 8.When you’re telling the ER doc what a stupid move you made, I just wish I could look innocent and say “I meant to do that!” Then, wash the blood from my hair after she finishes stitching. ;-D
Noreen, hope you feel better. I sometimes forget my glasses when getting up in the morning, Now I’m afraid I’ll miss the toilet. As promised here is my little Jack on the morning he showed up.I opened the door, and there he was in the Cat bedWhat a cutie!Later I made warm cat food slurry for the cold morning for him and Aunt Watty. I was able to pet little “Bandit” without the usual hissing i get from ferals.Anyway, he already knows how to meow loudly for brekkie, I suppose he learned that from his mum.He had 3 other siblings but they seemed to vanish during last weeks cold snap.
There was an extremely disturbing video on the news last night. There was a stray dog/coyote walking around in Collingwood (north of Barrie). The police were called, and when the animal showed no fear of the cruiser, deliberately ran over, then backed over it, and then shot it. I am upset and outraged by their behaviour!!
A sunny morning to all.-—————@Noreen Klose: I hope you get better very soon. You are in my prayers.. God Bless You.-—————May your day be filled with blessings my friends.
my goodness what a lot of bad news for everyone lately. Best wishes and good thoughts for Last Rose’s friend and MoreCats for your losses, Rose Rabbit and Noreen for your health.@Dry and Dusty, do you use a PPI for your GERD? I have to take one for my GERD, helps a lot but it’s very difficult to come off them.
My thoughts and prayers go out to all who have either lost loved ones or are in pain (Noreen!!!). Pam, got your card yesterday too. That Pogo stick will remain in the garage until you feel up to trying it.And, dear Jack Soames…..usually you get along just fine with Chesney (SUCH patience)…I’d expect any of the other TCs to want to whip his a—…especially our Lily. Tomorrow will feature ? Can’t wait.
i’ve got an ultrasound on my kidneys scheduled for Friday at 8.30am – a lot earlier than I’m used to getting up, but I’d rather have it done sooner than later.
Pam, I got your card yesterday, I will keep praying for a most wonderful kitty friendly place for you!
My heart and prayers for all the families suffering from the loss of loved ones.
I’m shuffling off to Buffalo tomorrow to see my mom, she turns 82 next week. I’m leaving the kitties and dog in the care of he farmer hubby who thinks harvest is too important to postpone.
Y’all notice that I did not say I wouldn’t be wandering into the bathroom late night again…I know men have a problem with that, but women do too. I need to get up at least once a night, probably from drinking too much liquids in the time before bedtime. I will be much more careful now…no more falling in the dark. I have to keep it dark, I have trouble sleeping when there is too much light in the room.
