After the Americans went to the Moon, the Soviet leader announced they would be sending a man to the Sun. The engineers objected. “If you send a man to the Sun, he will burn up!”

“What do you think I am, stupid?” he replied. “We’ll send him at night!”

Bruno ZeigertsIn Canada, it’s a Newfie joke.In Texas, it’s an Aggie joke.Whatever the local prejudice happens to be. The prejudice precedes the joke, so no one, in particular, picks them.

Fool moon—you should appreciate the attention.

I know I appreciate the light when I can see my shadow at night.

I thought it was bark at the moon…. And, really, there is no dark side of it, it’s all dark…

I’m wondering… can you “moon” someone when the sun is shining? Or, if you “moon” someone when there is no moon visible and it’s pitch black outside so nobody can see what you did, does it really count?

    These things bother me…
