I guess, Dad will have cereal for breakfast.

Sometimes I fear that by my playing the organ, what a fiasco! People would throw eggs and tomatos after me!!

There was this old strip in Zap Comix (yes folks, they spelled it that way in the 60s), where these two dudes go on stage, then bomb, get pelted with all kinds of food, which is what they intended to do in the first place and have a feast (yum, b’loney sanwidge )

Why do I get the feeling that Calvin is channeling Dennis the Menace?

That’s actually a pretty good metaphor.

If at first you don’t succeed, yolk yolk again.

As Shrek would say, Calvin is going the right way for a smart bottom.

Dennis was a choir boy when compared to Calvin!

Having raised kids who did silly stuff like this, it is much funnier seeing it happen to someone else. I was furious at the time.

Very egg-sistential…

I’m not sure if there is a moral to today’s strip; but for sure, there appears to be a bit of a morass…

Mark Twain:Behold, the fool saith, “Put not all thine eggs in the one basket” — which is but a manner of saying, “Scatter your money and your attention”; but the wise man saith, “Put all your eggs in the one basket and — watch that basket!”

With so many eggs to balance, perhaps that explains why my own life is so scrambled.

It’s also important to remember that life is a fragile as those eggs… as you will soon discover when your mom finds the mess you made in the living room.

The important thing is to clean up that mess before Mom see’s it and elects to play kick the can with your butt.

….and when juggling eggs, there’s a high probability of getting egg on your face……. and in your hair….. and….???

The importance of persistence is not to be underestimated.

If anything is for certain here, it’s hard to beat a boiled egg…

Calvin is the control freak of his life and the glitch in others

I’m sure Mom will agree.

I think Calvin is the mixed up kid in this one. He’d better scramble before Mom (or Dad) see his yoke. They might not see the sunny side of his efforts.
