Everyone always says “fine mess” when talking about Laurel and Hardy. I have watched all their movies over and over, and even one was titled “A fine mess”. But he always says “Well, here’s another NICE mess you’ve gotten me into”.
If Mutt & Jeff had ever teamed up with the Stooges, it would have meant the end of the world… but what a funny end it would have been.

My Dad never let me watch the Three Stooges (or Soupy Sales). He was happy I spent so much time at my friends house
