I remember a nose tackle from not too many years ago who played for a number of different teams. He was known as a “run stopper” more than as a pass rusher. Last name Washington, first name, I think, Ted. They called him “Mount.”
I just looked for Ted Washington on Wikipedia. He played for six NFL teams until age 39. His longest stretch was Buffalo, where he played all 16 games for 5 years. His “fighting weight” was 375 pounds.
I remember a Tiny Goss from high school. Had a minor NFL career. Played tackle from high school on, but terribly misplayed. I played touch in PE with him, a great broken field runner. Should have played fullback, massive and shifty. Scored a touchdown in high school – just reached up and intercepted a pass one-handed and waded over the goal line with five linemen holding on – never got to display his running talent.

Hope Tank’s mom is helping him prepare. She must know how to make enough food for a lineman,

My typing error above. Ted Washington had six years with Buffalo, all with 16 games. .
