    That’s a head-scratcher.

It has an expiration date (Best By ) so dummies will replace it with new. LOL

Because California and NJ require one on everything. Easier to do it on all bottles than separate them.

Wonderful!!!!! It is so true… how silly bottled water is for most folks to drink in the US. The “jaundiced” eye of the grandly mustached fellow is good to see. Glad to also see a hirsute fellow appear again in Pluggers as well! I do miss the color, however, so I hope it returns soon!

Well if you want it to last longer, just buy the dehydrated water.

That’s what I always figured was the reason – that the water picked up some of the taste of the plastic. Still better tasting than that expensive artesian water – ugh!!

We just run tap water into a glass pitcher. In less than a day, any chemical taste dissipates (though our tap water doesn’t have much chlorine taste anyway.)If we want to carry water with us, we use refillable stainless steel bottles.

Some plastic formulas will degrade over time. Containers made from them will fall apart.

Tap water = chlorine, fluoride, microbial cysts, bacteria, etc. Sometimes when we get heavy rains, we go under a boil notice for our tap water. Easier to buy it in bottles.

Happy to say that although compared to the rest of the world, I do read the comics rather late, right now the comic is in color!

We have a filter built into the fridge! No plastic bottles to recycle, and no expiration date…

Those of us older pluggers remember when technicolor movies came out, what a thrill! And then we couldn’t stand to watch a black and white movie anymore. We’re spoiled. Glad Pluggers is once again in Technicolor!

Funny story: Last year, we found ourselves with a few cases of water that had been in a hot garage too long and tasted awful. Being in Cali and not wanting to waste it, hubs took all the bottles and one at a time emptied them on our parkway tree. A passing driver, seeing this, stopped and told him he had an extra garden hose if he needed it. Nice man thought hubs was buying bottled water for a 40 year old ash tree! Californians are not THAT nutty, yet!
