It is NOT the CONGRESSIONAL Medal of Honor. It is just the Medal of Honor. (Awarded by the President in the name of congress, but the official title doesn’t mention congress.)
@EarlP2 The reason they become like the rest is because as a freshman they get the worst offices the less assistance and the threat that if they don’t fall into line they will make sure they don’t get a second term. Not all congressmen are the a-holes they seem, but thy have no choice. If they have any ideals those are soon crushed. Republicans fall right into line, but if’s been said that collaring Democrats is like herding cats. They seem to go their own way I.E. staying truer to their ideals..

The Medal of Honor is most often awarded posthumously; you really have to show incredible valor to earn it.
