I told my physical therapist that bending down to retrieve something depends on its weight and value. It changes daily, but 20/20 is a good start. under 20 lbs and $20 or more.
I’ve been there, too. I wouldn’t stoop for anything less than a dollar. Now, even pennies are worth it. It felt great when I first found I could do that.
If you want some fun, glue a dime or even a quarter to the sidewalk in front of your home with high strength epoxy! It’s almost as good as watching a squirrel try to climb a bird feeder pole greased with Crisco…
