Grandpa, what's it like to get old? Well, Eddie, it's like, there's a tree and it's on a mountain. The mountains been there a long time. And there's always weather on it... As the rocks a road, the minerals have to be replaced, and there's snow on top, but the trees stop part way up the slopes, which can have avalanches. So one day, the mountain has towns all over it. And skiers, too, sometimes... er... so... You see what I mean? Getting old makes no sense? Right. I knew there was a point to that story. Thanks.

Getting old means the adventures of youth catch up to you. Hence, pain in places you never knew you had.

You enter your metallic years: silver in your hair, gold in your teeth and lead in your pants.
