What an office Counselor Witch has!

(‘Course, her couch has nothing on the Escherian Comfy Couch of Confusion over at Pibgorn….)

Maybe the idea is to use “Distance makes the heart grow fonder” to get them back together..

So that’s the opposite of a love seat.

How long? I’d guess about 4 meters (12 feet).

It won’t be easy closing that gap.

Part of the confusion is that her name is spelled in different ways (Broom-Hilda or Broom Hilda). I’m assuming the first is what the “B.” stands for…because that seems to be Russell Myers’ preferred spelling.

Maybe RM printed her name as “B. Witch” just to tempt the readers to mentally erase the “W.” Some cartoonists like to see what they can get away with.

As for that couch, it reminds me of a quote from “Are You Being Served?”: “When love is strong, a couple can make their bed on the edge of a sword; but when love is weak, a bed of 60 cubits is not wide enough.”

From the looks of that couch, I get the impression that Broomie counsels people in polygamist marriages as well as couples.
