If only we had some big old elephants to attack those guards!

A few years back, Tarzan & another man were staked to the ground facing a massive boar attack. Tarzan called his animal allies who rescued them. Why not employ this same tactic now?
If I were a spearman and a huge elephant was charging me, I believe I would give way – probably not continue with my attack.
