"Muffin has taken on a much tougher persona to compensate for being declawed."
I’d say it’s to compensate for being called Muffin.
I know the change is ugly, but it still saved a ton of wear and tear on the furniture and the drapes.
Spiked muffin.
De-clawing is a very cruel thing, imagine having the tips of your fingers, the first joint, cut off! It’s banned in many areas.
Barbaric. Just like cropping ears and tails on dogs. Should be outlawed in all states.
What made up for the neutering?
It is done by removing the poor animals first toe joint. It leaves some pain behind forever. People who do it should go all the way and have the pet dyed to match their furniture. It’s animal cruelty and veterinary malpractice I think.
The irony is delightful!
Very similar to an earlier “Close To Home”. http://www.gocomics.com/closetohome/2006/05/11 (But still a good one!)
