Does the coffee hold any great significance …?

.Good morning guys!.I posted this late yesterday and it made me so proud that I am posting it again. Four generations for Thanksgiving.Sorry if this offends anyone.

It’s the last night of shooting, so some action scenes are bound to follow, and Sam is watching from a safe (?) distance.

@AnyFace:No, the coffee won’t be significant — it’s just a popular prop in the Tracy universe. I suppose it gives them something to do with their hands and provides a bit of motion to the frames sometimes as the steam rises.

Watch out on that coffee, Sam, if you do not want Dick Tracy to see you hanging from the ceiling. The coffee might be free but it might come with everlasting sleep flavor.

third panel, I see the fellow who gave Sam the coffee is also drinking the coffee. Just before Sam drinks his coffee the other fellow will keel over DEAD !

Hope there’s nothing suspicious about the man pouring the coffee.

In panel 3, I see the gaffer with coffee and Sam to the left, a figure I take to be Tracy with fedora, and two unidentifieds at the right, plus three figures (cops?) up in the rigging/loft/scoreboard deck. Just what kind of location is this? An outdoors stage venue?

Y’know…wouldn’t it be a neat idea if Team Tracy FINALLY got around to telling that story Mike said about 15 years ago he was gonna tell, that would reveal The Brow’s Son’s name???!? Could THIS be it?!?!? Could The Brow’s Son be The Hangman?!?!?!

A film which (sorta) tarnishes his Father’s Legacy…makes his Father look like a “nice guy”…. would be reason enough to kill everyone off of it dontcha think?!? Even tho Brow’s Son sorta “reformed” the last time I saw him

Is it just a coincidence that the movie set in panel three looks like a gallows?

I’d spent so much time focusing on the coffee, that totally slipped my mind.

One final “bow”. I cannot express how good you, my friends on GoComics, made me feel about my wonderful Thanksgiving yesterday. It was a perfect day for me. When I married Jo Ann in 1960, we never imagined having such a loving and caring family. The picture is the culmination of our life together over the years. Jo Ann passed away in 2010. She was so very proud of our daughters and granddaughters, and now there is a two year old great grandson in the family. I could not be happier. Thanks again for the very nice comments.
