We actually do eat Thanksgiving with a vegan. There’s still turkey for us meat eaters, but the vegan food is so phenomenally that the poor turkey lies mostly forgotten. Baked broccoli is awesome.

I think eating something different once in a while is not a big problem. Vegan cooked well is better than Non Vegan done badly. Most veg is overcooked.

Vegan food; if you think about it, is a bit oxymoronic…

I prefer the old argument, “Look at your teeth, with those ripping and tearing canines in the front, and THEN explain why we aren’t supposed to be eating meat”.

This is so Wrong, Three times a year the Holiday calls for good Celbratory Food, the 4th of July, (Hot Dogs & Hamburgers), Thanksgiving, (Turkey) and Christmas, (Turkey or Ham. The other 362/363 days can be reserserved for all that so called healthy stuff!

AtypicalReaderIncisors are in front and are for cutting bites off meat or veggies. Canines are on the flank and are to hold the food while the incisors do their cutting. The bicuspids are the real clue with their combination of shredding meat and grinding veg. Only the molars are mainly grain mills, but also useful in breaking bones to get to the marrow inside. Oops, it seems our diet has evolved faster than our dentation, but still it is the dentation of an omnivore, not a canine-less moo cow.

Why not just eat tofu, surely making it look like turkey could be called cheating? We turkey eaters would never try to turn proper meat into tofu!
