Running like that is due to a thing called the “Rut”………just ask the doe that the buck is chasing after …..

I have a friend who collects the elk antlers that fall off. Last season he found nearly 700Lbs, @ $14 a pound you do the math.He hiked his butt off to fill his truck though.

So if a hunter from Canada does that, would that make him a mounty?

Actually the young forkhorns taste better. But they all taste funky if harvested during the rut (about over now here in the Northeast anyway).

Well, at least Verne didn’t tell him the whole story…you know, the part about “Well, it’s not JUST the antlers…”

Right…that gathering is women’s work….and men wouldn’t be caught dead.
