Small-block 327 with a 2GC carb, PowerGlide 2 speed auto trans. It would start before the engine made one full turn. For mine, I had to buy & install the Powerglide, and troubleshoot why it would simply quit, which turned out to be the coil. /had one in 1975…

I’m a bit older I guess. I’m still a fan of the ‘55, ‘56, ‘57 chevs with the 283 CID engines. Those puppies delivered 1 hp per cube (‘57 FI model) and would tach over 8 grand. Sweet.
