Attending church sermons regularly; or AA Meetings (and sharing) regularly, hoping that some of the other people’s sobriety will rub off on you through osmosis (if you impress them enough!) ISN’T going to get you sober, Andy; anymore than sitting home alone (or in a bar) is going to get you sober (as I have learned through experience!). Nope, you really have to do the work yourself, for Spirit to meet you halfway!
A good day to all readers.-————I have attended churches where someone would fall asleep and start snoring. Not a good sign. Maybe that’s why some preachers yell the messages instead of speaking them. They are hoping to keep everyone awake.-————Be healthy, wealthy and wise my friends.

“Actually, Vicar, your sermon today was great! It actually woke me up a couple of times!”
