Wouldn’t it make more sense to put that side against the wall or corner of the room. That way it is out of site.

How about calling it a “crescent moon tree”? Sounds exotic and elegant, maybe even the sort of thing you could charge extra for.

I hang an oversized red ball from the tree in our front yard so it looks like a giant Charlie Brown tree!!
