I have watched the Patterson’s grow since, well, forever. When they were dropped from my daily newspaper, I found them on line. Thank goodness for today’s technology!!
Aww, a tape recorder was on my list also way back. On Christmas Day my cousins and I had so much fun recording everyone. Sure wish I had that little cassette tape to hear my grandma’s Italian accent wish everyone a “Buon Natale”!
My other half asked his parents for ‘a recorder’ one christmas. To his credit, he swallowed his disappointment and didn’t complain as he unwrapped a squeaky wind instrument …
I got a tape recorder once for a gift. It was a Norelco and used little 3-inch reels of 1/4 inch tape. My roommate in college and I had fun making up little ‘skits’ and taping them. Our friends got ‘a kick’ out those little ‘skits’ especially one that we did about the ‘Indy 500’ ! !!
Yes there is a toll free number for US & Canada. From dates 12/9/15-12/24/15, hours of 2p-8p PT 5p-11p ET 1-800-726-8222 No need to dial the 1 on cell phones.
I had a tape recorder like IndyMan’s. It was mine, but the family used it to send “letters” back and forth with my Oregon grandparents. Mom had given them a similar model, and we would exchange our greetings every month or so. I sure wish I had some of those recordings, but we reused them frequently (new tapes were expensive). I would love to hear my grandparents’ voices again (and my parents, too, for that matter).

It’s okay if you misspell some toys on your list, Elizabeth. Santa can probably figure it out…
