Blimey, I didn’t realise that knowing how to braise beef, mend socks and make hospital corners were prerequisites for being gay. I’ve no idea about any of that. I’ve got a nasty feeling that someone’s going to come along and ask for my membership card back… ;-)
Ok, the thing is he spoke to the counsellor a loooong time ago and now after finding out that life w/Annie could get complicated and messy he brings it up, but not_ the recent discovery about her & the Cad (a colleague) …
I’m thinking maybe Alan’s the one who should be considering having the talk with someone … and hey — Boyd’s still single …
I have a sister and brother-in-law who tried to adopt a child but couldn’t, not enough money. Sister can’t have children.
Their pets are children to them.
Actually, I can & do d-a-r-n (why is it bleeping that??) socks. The kids & the hubby wear them through while they’re is still plenty of life left in them!!
I can braise beef too. Of course, Alan can have the properly made bed, I’ve just never been for that.
That said, I still think Annie should stay with Dr. Fine & Alan but there ought to be a way Lila can a constant in her life as well. Hmm .. if only there were a magic person out there who was able to decide where this was actually going…. ;)

Having said that, I doubt Lila can mend socks. So there is that, Alan.

Maybe, just maybe, Annie would be more comfortable living with them if Dr Fine would tell her his first name?
I think most of my own discomfort with him stems from that, well that and his chin.
