Prehensile is an adjective that defined as (chiefly of an animal’s limb or tail) capable of grasping. An elephant has 1 prehensile body part, his tip of his trunk, which is actually a highly evolved nose. An elephant’s tail is not prehensile.

The New World monkey shown has 5 prehensile parts: its 2 hands, its 2 feet, and its tail. Generally, Old World monkeys don’t have tails; if they do, the tails aren’t prehensile.

The elephant may only have one prehensile part, but don’t get it mad or it’ll stomp the snot out of you.

Only JAD would know what the other one is.

I’d like to see an elephant hanging from his trunk! It may be a wonder of the animal world but I don’t believe it is prehensile.

I think JAD was thinking about parts of an elephant he wouldn’t mind hanging from.
