Clayton: Can we get the Christmas decorations out? Adam: Not right this second. Clayton: Why not? Adam: 'Cause I'm crammed full of turkey and pumpkin pie. Plus, we don't usually do the decorations till next weekend. Clayton: Can we change the schedule? Adam: Okay. Maybe between my afternoon and evening leftover stupors.

Agreed BZ. Even my kids get annoyed at how fast stores jump away to Christmas, the big moneymaker.

The house up the hill from us has had their lights on for over a week. Ridiculous!

Well, we are having some “clear” weather for a few days, so I wouldn’t mind getting the lights out this weekend. Only problem…………..it’s sitting at 6 degrees right now (9:51 a.m.)…….just a tad cold for the outside lights. :((

There’s a house near us that’s got all its bushes twinkling with multicolored lights. They’ve been on for a month or so already.

Inside decorations are up. I have the outside stuff down from the attic, but I’m too tired to finish now (3:30 p.m.). I’ll put that up tomorrow. It’s faster than the inside. I learned the hard way not to wait if the weather is going to be nice.

Another good reason to put the decorations up the weekend before Christmas, and light them on Christmas Eve.

I was upstairs a short time ago and looked over towards the neighbors. Yup, there is a lighted tree on their porch! Nothing at our place yet; maybe in two or three weeks, but nothing yet…
