I had to sell subscriptions to “Grit” to pay for my hard knocks schooling.

So, that explains why he isn’t wearing pants.

I wish I had gotten a Scholarship, the School of Hard Knocks has Cost me a Pretty Penny!

I could have got that scholarship but I went against the grain in 1967 and went Regular Army ! Hoo Rah

I am going to violate one of my own rules. I have maintained that there should be no politics in the Ziggy comments, but I ran across something today that I think needs to be shared.The sheriff in Georgia paid for a sign with his own money that reads, "Warning: Harris County is politically incorrect. We say Merry Christmas, God Bless America and In God We Trust. We salute our troops and our flag. If this offends you — leave.
