Agent: Right this way, Mr. Doonesbury. Watch your step, Mrs. Doonesbury. Okay, the door's stuck, but I think that's the library. JJ: A library! Oh, Mike, I've always wanted a library!
We’re just inside the door, in one of the rooms in the supposedly vacant apartment Mike and JJ are viewing.
The real estate agent wants to show them the room we’re standing in …. so he’s shaking, and then thumping on, that same door from the other side, not knowing it’s barred and nailed on our side.
That’s what’s making the plaster fall.
Well…. I said our side… but I have a feeling someone else is in here with us….library indeed…..
I was looking at bargain properties and was shown 2 old frame houses on one lot. The rear one had an extension cord run to the front house. When we asked to look at the houses, inside, we were shown a gun and told NO!
The owner came by and tried to sell us to houses without us even looking inside and tried to show crazy rents he was getting.
It was pretty obvious that the “renters” and he had an on going squabble, and the police did not even want to get in the middle of it.

“Watch your step, Mrs. Doonesbury”? .What kind of trash are they wading through in the rest of that “apartment” before they ever get to that room?

A fixer-upper. Only 3 or 4 thousand per month until it’s fixed up and then the price doubles.

It’s the library for sure. The periodical room, from the look of it.

Move to Youngstown. They can buy a whole block of houses for less then they are willing to pay there in NYC!
