Ham is no problem to fix. Problem is that I’m figuring it’s about 75 cents a bite.

Stuffing. Having ham this year. Thinking of making stuffing balls instead of just regular stuffing. We’ll see how much I get done today with meal prep before I decide for sure. Also having mashed potatoes, sweet potatoes, tofurkey for oldest son, gravy, corn, green bean casserole or Prince Edward medley, rolls, cole slaw, cranberry sauce.

Having macaroni salad, deviled eggs and leftover ham for suppertime. And some other stuff like a relish tray, nachos, etc.

And BTW, Peter, how would you like to be “slapped upside” your head, Mister?

Regardless of what you eat or who you invite over to share, I hope everyone has a safe and blessed Thanksgiving…

We are going to our nephew’s home this year – everybody brings something, so it’s not a burden on the hostess. Two of our daughters live out of town, and the other one goes out of town. We’ve decided that next year we’ve volunteering at a shelter.

Holidays at Big Mama’s….Turkey, fried chicken, ham, dressing, giblet gravy, green bean casserole, butter beans, field peas, sweet potato, sweet potato souffle, mashed potatoes, creamed corn, collards, corn bread, biscuits, jello salad, pecan pie, sweet potato pie, chocolate cake, pineapple cake…all homemade. She was always afraid that someone would not like what she cooked.

We’re having both a turkey and a ham this Thanksgiving, as well as somewhere between 16 and 20 people. Both were my wife’s idea.
