The objective was to stop the film, but that if I they realize it’s (real) Tracy the forget the target victim and go for himObviously not conducted for monitory gain ?But ‘revenge’ of sorts to inflict ‘financial pain’ !

People looking for revenge are usually “characters” slighted in the past. The Authors won’t waste a great CREATION behind a mask face only ‘revealed’ as a last bit task,

Just as they did with T-Bolt last January (but then, lost their ‘heads’)Instead of being an “ORIGINAL”,they just ‘wasted it’ as a disguise on Lee Ebony instead *!

Maybe the “click” heard the other day was the smoke machine turning on. With Tracy disarmed and Forsythe wounded, the MCU sniper or some good Tracy-style luck may be the only things that can save him from The Hangman. Or will Fate intervene and The Hangman become tangled in the safety rigging for Tracy and Forsythe and hang himself?!

Sad to hear of the passing of Robert Loggia, particularly given that I had cited him, recalling especially how he appeared in T.H.E. Cat, as a celebrity whom Byron Orlock resembled (18 November comments). May he rest in peace.

Panel 3, Tracy looks a bit like Superman.

The ‘click’ can’t be the smoke machine. Smoke from the billboard is in every scene since November 27. It must be crucial to the plot.

Also, probably funnier yet more logical long-term if it had been “Pruneface, Jr.” pretending to be the Moon Governor, but I thought the Moon Governor would look funnier tied up.

So glad I don’t have to make those choices on a daily basis. ;)

@Jim in CT yesterday:Everything about this is wrong. His earlier murders were done in secret, but here he is hijacking a copter, and planning to shoot someone in front of all those witnesses and cameras.

This has been a pattern with recent villains in this strip. Things go okay for them for a while, then they get increasingly desperate and all caution gets thrown to the wind.
