Sounds a bit like the lyric to a certain song from Mary Poppins.

    “…longer the name…bigger the markup.”

    As it should be.

’ll just stick with “coffee.” Takes less time, tastes better, costs a lot less.

It is estimated people spend $1800/year at Srarbucks. I make my own in a French Press. I estimate, I spend $180/year.

I used to buy a canister of Folgers for around $6 once or twice a month. Now I spend a little more, about $6 on a 12 to 18 count of single serve cups, 3 or 4 times per month. Still way less than those who frequent Starbucks or other coffeehouses.

Out here in the real world, it’s known as coffee. With cream. Ninety-nine cents.

Caffeine is a drug, therefore, Starbucks is one of the world’s largest drug dealers.
