Can you imagine a cop pulling them over these days with that poor dog locked in a U-Haul trailer in the middle of summer with no windows or barely any ventilation holes?
I wonder how many letters Lynn got from angry pet owners when she originally posted this strip.
I have laugh at this – and I should have posted this yesterday. When I was 16, a few of us piled in my old Corvair and snuck into an old MGM lot in Culver City, CA (we did it all the time). One of the dimmer bulbs in our group saw a skunk and decided to chase it. Of course, it stopped dead and sprayed him from about 3 feet away. Dude rode the 5-6 miles home in the trunk which, unfortunately for the rest of us, was in the front on a Corvair.
Where and how did John and Elly get that kind of “U-Rent” trailer to put their stinky dog, Farley in before they headed home? X-D hahahahahaaa… Poor Farley for stucking in the trailer for long time to get home. hee hee hee hee hee heeee ;-D
if you go into the editorial ‘toons you’ll find
ALONG CAME PUPPY.
he’s back, but has become a bit less sensational…
he was condemned by so many people that he did get banned, but as long as you have a new email address
you can get back in (like the spammers).

Sorry Farley. You’ll be in exile for quite some time.
You can tell this is an old strip. No seat belts.

You can tell this was in theory decades earlier.

One good thing is that you got through it without a visit to the hospital.

I’d like to be there when they try to turn in the smelly rented trailer.
And when everything in it has to be washed down from the dog being in there.

As a male reader, I shudder at the smile on Elly’s face.

@milano99 Rmom has it right several of the other comics stated that he was flagged enough to get banned. Not sure why.
