For a bunch of dudes who pride themselves on their “toughness,” the Republican leadership sure does seem afraid of a bunch of little kids.

Once the area is secured, we will need friendly people to repopulate it. Refugees who we have treated well fit the bill perfectly. However, since we need " boots on the ground" and we’re afraid of the adults, how about taking care of the kids and shipping the adults to training centers where they can learn to fill those “boots on the ground” and take back their own country with our support.

All the hate being thrown at the governors totally ignores what they are saying is their grounds for not wanting the refugees. There is no way at this time to vet the individuals that want to enter the country. I’m sure there are probably only a small percentage of radicals in the mix, but as France found it only takes one or two radicals in the mix to kill 140 people. We have had radicals in the mix of our prior refugee waves, best example being the Somali refugees that settled in Minnesota and have traveled back to Somali to fight with Al Shabaab. So do you want to answer the families of the dead when that one radical in the mix decides to go on killing rampage? I know I wouldn’t and I’m sure the various governors don’t.
