By all means, let’s allow murderers to dictate our policies and walk on tiptoe to avoid giving them any room to propagandize. Because as you know ISIS hasn’t released any propaganda materials at all lately. Their ability to publicize themselves is solely dependent on America, and they are TOTALLY HELPLESS to get their message out without us, and especially without comrade Obama, around whom the whole frickin’ earth revolves.Sure am glad the liberal White House wasn’t running things during WW2 or the Cold War. The Kerry/Obama “we’ve contained them” shua is plumb successful, ain’t it?

I am sorry, but I heard the Carson comment, and as much as I feel the guy is an empty suit and would appreciate it if he shared whatever it is he is smoking, I think this one about the rabid dawg is a bit of a cheap shot. Let’s face it, those ISIS fanatics in Paris could be described as rabid dogs. But all Muslims are not followers of ISIS, nor are all followers of ISIS wild eyed fanatics…. A cheap shot.

Excellent point, Mr. Boling. The fanatics ( Christians and Muslims ) are winning the war of fear and loathing.<p.Scarily, there are many, many fundamentalist Christians who are pushing for a total war in the Middle East to hasten Armageddon and the End of Days and some are secretly supporting terrorists groups to foment civil war and chaos.

Awesome cartoon. Great comments, too, by linguist (I’m pretty sure that not enough people know about the drive of some fundies for war in the middle east, in order to bring about Armageddon), SteepBumps (as Mencken said, “the whole aim of practical politics is to keep the populace alarmed (and hence clamorous to be led to safety) by menacing it with an endless series of hobgoblins, most of them imaginary”), Rad-ish (yes, the difference between fundamentalist muslims and fundamentalist christians is quite often kind of hard to see), and Rick Pikul (agreed; the frothing at the mouth right-wing is playing right into their hands). Now, someone is going to post that christians aren’t violent like isis. No, they’re not—but only because they don’t have the political control here that the muslims do in their countries. When they did have control, the situation was every bit as bad (technological differences notwithstanding). And, they’d like to return to that state of affairs; read American Fascists: The Christian Right and the War on America by Chris Hedges and Kingdom Coming: The Rise of Christian Nationalism by Michelle Goldberg for details.Theocracy, christian or muslim, with its jihads, inquisitions, pogroms, and crusades, must be resisted by those of us who favor democracy.

We need to keep pretending that Islam has nothing whatever to do with terrorism, and add as many Muslims as possible to our population. Heck, only 20% of Syrian refugees have a positive view of ISIS. Those are some great odds!

Thank you, Mr. Bolling – While many are thinking the same thing as you are, you have the guts to say it out loud. Thomas Payne would be proud.

“Good Christians” also waged suppresion on the basis of fighting well, Jews, “Japs”, “Gooks”, “Slopes”, “Krauts”, and lots of other hate associated nicknames and other “others” like the Cherokee, who were mostly practicing Christians, it doesn’t take much for any “religiionist” of the bible faiths to want war and destruction of all enemies, foreign and domestic: radical Orthodox Jews, Fundamentalist Christians, and Radical Muslims are all cut with the same cutter, and make half-baked cookies standard fare.

I realize manteo16nc and libsmasher are trolls, but their comments are exactly in line with the hate-filled rantings that ISIS uses. In fact, it is possible that they learned it from such through the internet.
