Is it time to go to bed yet? That is what my body is asking my brain.

I should have been there about 2 hours ago, Ladywolf, but I think I got my second wind.

jcqlns says: We loved our Bassetts – they are such a hoot! Fred is so much like the six dogs we had over the years. As we are getting older we had to go to the smaller dogs and now have two Dachshunds that we love and enjoy…it is time to turn in as it is 11 PM on the West Coast.

I feel the same thing as Fred does like that! I woke up between 4-5 AM every time. When I feel tired, I take a nap anyway. I am getting tooooo OLD already! I am only 48 years old, eh! :-/

I’m a real old man. All those ads on TV about old men problems from arthritis to hair loss (no funny comments) were written about me. Old and decrepit Lew the younger (under 90) crowd call me.

So if I get up at 4-6 to read the hilarious comments on GoComics. I just may feel the need for a short little nap after. Herein lies the problem. The body I left on HER side of the bed is now sprawled over the whole bed. Do I risk the wrath of the unwillingly awakened or risk the slings and arrows of outrageous fortune and go to the couch to sleep, perchance to dream. Perchance to have two scratching fur-balls lie on me. Pillows. MMMMM.

My brain is irritatingly conscientious. It wakes me up even when the alarm doesn’t.
